Everything you need to know before booking, in plain language. No small print: what you read here is what happens at the counter.
Rates and cover
We have three rates: Base, Smart and Premium. All of them include third-party liability, collision damage cover, theft protection, unlimited mileage, one additional driver and 24/7 roadside assistance. All prices include VAT.
The difference is how much stays at your risk if there is damage (the excess), the cover included, and which cards we can accept. Compare everything in the table below.

Prepaid cards are not accepted on any rate.
Excess
On the Base rate, the excess ranges from €1,250.00 to €3,500.00 depending on the car group.
On Smart, the excess drops to 30% of the group's Base excess. On Premium there is no excess on covered damage, including glass, mirrors, tyres and wheels.
Cards accepted and identification
Base rate: credit card only, in the main driver's name. Smart and Premium: credit or debit card. Prepaid cards are not accepted on any rate.
On pick-up day, bring a valid driving licence for every driver and an ID document (identity card or passport).
Fuel
You return the car with the same fuel level it had at pick-up. Same level back means no fuel charge whatsoever; if it comes back lower, we charge the missing fuel.
Mileage
Unlimited on every rate. Drive the Algarve and the rest of the country without counting kilometres.
Minimum age and young drivers
We rent to drivers aged 21 to 90 holding a licence for at least 2 years on the day of pick-up. Drivers aged 21 and 22 pay an additional fee of €7.50/day, shown right at the search step and already included in the prices shown.
Additional driver
A second driver is free on every rate. Just bring their driving licence on pick-up day so we can add them to the contract.
Pick-up and return
We deliver and collect the car at Faro Airport, at our Alvor office or at your accommodation in the Algarve. Arriving by plane? Give us your flight number: we track the arrival and wait for you even if it is delayed.

Opening hours: every day, 9am to 7pm. Out of hours by arrangement: between 20:00 and 8:00 a fee of €35.00 applies to each pick-up or drop-off.
Driving into Spain
Planning to cross the border? Add the Cross-border permit for Spain extra at the extras step of your booking, or tell us by phone. Insurance and 24/7 assistance remain valid in Spain, with no limit on days or mileage. Driving in any other country is not permitted.
Fines and tolls
Tolls, fines and car parks during the rental are the driver's responsibility. The car carries a Via Verde device that is always active and works on motorways and in car parks: if you use it, we charge a handling fee of €2.00 per day (maximum €20.00 per rental) plus the tolls and parking used, normally up to one month after the rental ends, except in exceptional situations.
Fines carry an administrative fee of €25.00 for processing.
Cancellation and no-show
You can cancel or change your booking at no cost until 3 days before the rental starts: just email us, send a WhatsApp message or reply to the confirmation email. If you paid online, we refund the amount paid.
Damage and what to do in an accident
In case of accident, breakdown or damage, call us immediately: 24/7 assistance is included on every rate. If a third party is involved, fill in the friendly accident statement kept in the car.
We handle the process for you. The most you would ever pay is your rate's excess; on Premium that is €0 for covered damage.
